Michele Boyce-Obenchain

I am Michele Boyce-Obenchain and I live in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina fulfilling a dream to retire here 2 years ago. I am a Mary Kay Consultant.  My life prior was in Healthcare.  I am a graduate of Jackson Memorial School of Nursing in Miami where I practiced Emergency Nursing for many years. After the death of my husband, I moved to Belmont University, Nashville TN., where I completed my nursing under-graduate and MBA Degrees. The next 15 years of my career were as a Chief Nursing Officer working for small rural hospitals in Tennessee and Kentucky.  In this role I managed a staff of 85-100 employees with an annual budget over $2 million.

I have no children but I am the proud Aunt of 4 great nieces and nephews who are the joy of my life. My family of origin includes 2 sisters and a wonderful brother-in-law all of whom live within 90 miles of me.  In 1976, I accepted Jesus as my Savior and am active in women’s ministries, bible studies and choir.  I love to travel and have been to England, France, Scotland and Israel.  In 2007 I will visit Ireland.

Though most of my adult life I have been over weight, thanks to TSI, I am eating and living a healthier lifestyle, 25 pounds lighter and continuing towards my ideal weight.  At Mary Kay Seminar 2006, I was 9th in my National unit (out of 1600-1700 consultants) and 1st in my local unit (70) for retail sales. Living in this area of North Carolina affords me the opportunity to volunteer at the local hospital, work in the art’s community and be the make-up coordinator for Little Theater.

I also work with the Women’s Abuse Center, the Free Medical Clinic and the Animal Shelter raising funds for these wonderful programs.  Other growth steps with TSI include getting over a childhood fear of the dark, improved relations with family and friends and letting down the walls of isolation to become open to have a special relationship with a male partner after 20 years as a widow.

I am looking forward to being a coach with TSI to continue my personal growth in this exciting, growing community and help others visualize their dreams and achieve their greatness.
