My name is Polly Schrag and I live in Moundridge, Kansas. I am 42 and I am a physcial therapist assistant. I took the TSI Basic 101, and Intermediate 201 from December of 2004, to the present after hearing about it from Jerry Pomeroy. My coaches were Gavin and Joyce for 101 and Gavin and Cliff for 201. At first I felt very pessimistic about the course but now I want to tell you what has happened in my life as a result of taking the course.
Physically: The physical part of my life has been good. In the last 3 years of my life I have been running 1 to 3 miles a day, never to miss more than two days in a row. I also lift weights and do Pilates. As most people know, though, staying physically fit is a life time disipline. I'm fortunate to have TSI keeping me accountable for ongoing fitness.
Family: When I met TSI, I was a bitter and angry woman. I didn't even realize how sad I had become. I had chosen to live my life in a state of anger instead of sharing the best part of me. I felt "in control" when I was angry. When I did start sharing, and putting effort forth in my relationship I realized how miserable I had become. Fred and I just keep getting better!
Socially: I have taken on the responsibility of being on the board of education. Although I did run uncontested, I had over 500 votes. This is not a position that I would have said yes to before TSI. Looking forward to the new challenge.
Career: About 3 years ago, I became a personal trainer. I have always wanted to use that certification but haven't ever stepped out to do it. Recently I attended a continuing education class in Pilates. From this class, and attending my own Pilates classes, I have gotten together a small group of women and am teaching/coaching them on the journey of Pilates. Another new challenge. This does not pay the bills, but it is a beginning to bigger things and it is self satisfying.
Financially: This continues to be a struggle for me. Looking to make extra money besides my 3 day a week job by teaching Pilates and personal training.
I feel so strongly about TSI and their coaching courses that I would strongly recommend this course. It will open a whole new world of possibilities.
The coaches I had were exceptional. They made me take a real close look at myself, and never let me off the hook. I was held accountable for all that I did or didn't do.
If you are considering taking the TSI coaching Course, my recommendation to you is to go for it. Expect to grow and to feel like you have a whole new world spread out before you.
