At the time I decided to take the TSI 101 course I’d been interested in life coaching for some time. I’d had some free trial sessions with some other companies, but none of these convinced me that they were worth investing in.
My sister then recommended that I contact TSI – a friend of hers had taken all of the TSI courses and recommended them highly. It was then that I had an 45-minute call with the TSI founder, Cliff Stockamp – it didn’t take long for me to appreciate that TSI was offering something different - they were all about getting tangible results.
My coaches were Dee Petersen and Gina Herald. They did a fantastic job of encouraging me to face up to issues in my life that I have long avoided, of challenging me to push myself beyond my comfort zone, of providing tremendously helpful feedback along the way and of facilitating our weekly group calls, calls which became a real source of strength throughout the change process.
I was quite staggered by the results of this course. It helped me face up to a whole number of challenges I was facing resulting in
1) My securing the teaching job that I wanted in Japan
2) Raising in excess of $10,000 to fund my wedding, teacher training course and move to Japan
3) Excelling in my final exams and graduating from my four-year university course with a 2:1 in BA Japanese Studies Degree
4) Being appointed student representative on a new university team charged with devising means for students to embrace Web 2.0 technology
5) My getting on with preparing for my wedding (a daunting task at times!) – it was a stunning success!
I would certainly recommend TSI to others, and indeed I have done so, and they have subsequently signed up for long-term coaching courses.
For me, it is the combination of the very well thought out online lessons, combined with the support given and the being accountable to the rest of the class that prompted me to move forwards in areas of my life where until now resistance has been the dominant force!
