Russ Brown

My name is Russ Brown and I live in York in the UK. I am 44 years old. I have been married for almost 3 years, have a baby daughter who is 20 months old and two teenage children from a previous relationship. I am the managing director of a leisure company that owns and operates 2 city centre bars. I have taken all three TSI courses 101, 201, and 301 which I completed in October of 2004. TSI was recommended to me by a friend who I value and trust. My coaches for 101 were Karen O’Donnel and Laurel Stockcamp, for 201 and 301 my coach was Cliff Stockcamp. Initially I felt apprehensive about my first course, this was something totally new for me but I am proud of myself for having the courage to go for it and would like to share what has happened in my life as a result of taking these courses.

Physically:
Exercise to me had always been a drag. I now work out at least 3 times a week and really enjoy the process. I am very close to my desired body weight and with the support of my wife, am eating a life enhancing variety of foods.

Family:
I am closer to all my family. Before the courses I was allowing my relationships to exist, I was taking them for granted. I was not taking responsibility for my relationships and as a consequence they were mediocre. Now they flourish, I pay attention to them and add value to them. I love my family. We recently enjoyed a holiday in Spain with my sister who is 50; it is the first time we have built sand castles together for over almost 40 years.

Socially:
I have always been a bit of a hedonist so socialising was already a big part of my life. TSI took me to a different level and a new understanding. I have recently successfully completed my training as a volunteer community mediator and I make a difference in my community by mediating in neighbour disputes, helping people identify there needs, explore solutions and negotiate their own agreements.

Career:
I have taken what I learned in TSI and transferred those skills to my business. In the past I would often accept peoples excuses when they let me down because I wanted them to like me, I now hold everyone accountable to their commitments and by doing so help them develop their own potential.

Financial:
My company made a net profit of £83,000 ( $160,000 ) last month, our best month ever.

One of the major contributors to this is my new found ability to hold people accountable. Every relationship in my life has changed for the better since my exposure to TSI and I have made new friendships with people I met on the courses that are valuable to me and I know will last a lifetime.

I would give TSI my highest recommendation and if you are thinking about enrolling on one of these courses, consider this before you do. TSI delivers everything they promise and often more. I was looking for an environment where I would discover more of my potential and grow to become a better man. TSI gave me that and continues to do so.
